North Cascades Back Country
Home Sweet Home
$ Goes Green Mentor $

My name is Nancy "Tana" Hamiter and I live in Skagit Valley of NW Washington State, USA. That is at the foothills of the North Cascade Mountains. If I’m not at my PC or teaching a class, I’m up in to woods and walking the trails. Even on a snowy day, all alone, when the silence is felt, where all the cares of the everyday world drift away. Also a good way for me to get that alone time for pondering on who I am, where am I going with my life and how is that affecting others, is it of service which I call my ‘give away’. Sometimes my best thoughts come through the silence.

My passion has always been in the area of teaching, training and public speaking. But when the computer age came around it caught my interest and so I threw myself into several years of study on internet marketing and computer support. I graduated from Skagit Valley College and then studies in depth with PMI coaching, Veretekk Training and Support Company and several other opportunities that presented themselves over the years.

Besides my interests in ecommerce and the possibilities for strong vibrant home based businesses, I also own and operate a Holistic Healing and Training Center. So health to me means health of body, mind, spirit, family, and financial.

Money doesn't make one happy but having a stable and strong home business can free you and others up to realize your personal goals and life plans.

My belief is in a team approach and with the highest standards for integrity. I only work with businesses and training companies that meet very high standards, ones that, as my granddad said. "You can hang your hat on that one honey".

I'm a country woman, love organic garden, 15 grandchildren and a husband I'd not trade anything for. Our lives are full and having an internet home based business that gives us the freedom to grab a couple of lap tops and be out and about, around the country or around the world without missing a heart beat ... well that's called freedom.

I’ve been in business for myself for over 30 years. I named that business Reach Unlimited LLC to remind myself there wasn’t anything I couldn’t do if I was willing to work, learn and grow and keep my priorities straight between family, work and my spiritual life. I encourage you to do the same.

It would be an honor to assist you with not only what I've learned in my learning curve but to have at our finger tips a team of highly trained individuals that are experts in every area of business development, internet SEO and so much more. I invite you to explore the team approach we have and shorten your learning and learning curve. If you already have a business or are looking for one, we are here for you.

Blessings, TanaTana Hamiter – Goes Green Mentor - Business Internet/Web Consultant and Trainer

Abraham Lincoln on Success and Failure

“My great concern is not whether you have failed, but whether you are content with your failure.” – Abraham Lincoln

Failure can either break us or make us. Those broken by failure are haunted by unpleasant memories. These memories are like shadows that lurk in front, behind, beside, beneath and above. It is also a cage that traps the mind, preventing it to entertain possibilities of freedom and success. They are convinced that they cannot do it; therefore, they will not try.

For those that failure could not break are those who became made “men.” Failure to them is not a ghost, but a friend who taught them well. It is also a stepping stone to wisdom. These men and women are convinced that true failure only happens when one gives up.

History has been kind to President Abraham Lincoln. He has been painted as probably the greatest president of the United States of America. It is the good thing that history also recorded his failures. It reflected his frail humanity but also showed his attitude of never giving up.

These failures could not stop him, he kept moving forward. The following is a short list of his ups and downs and ups.

*1831 – Failed in business1832
– Defeated for legislature1833
– Again failed in business1834
– Elected to legislature1835
– Sweetheart died1836
– Had a nervous breakdown1838
– Defeated for speaker1840
– Defeated for elector1843
– Defeated for Congress1846
– Elected for Congress1848
– Defeated for Congress1855
– Defeated for Senate1856
– Defeated for Vice-President1858
– Defeated for Senate1860
– ELECTED PRESIDENT

He was defeated more times than he won, but that did not mean he was a failure. Remember, that failures are only permanent if we stop trying. I believe the only real failure is the failure not to move on.

Thought for the Day ~ Ponder

Worry does not empty tommorrow of sorrow. It empties today of strength.

Words are the property of all alike ~ deeds are how you distinguish yourself.

Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice.

There is only one thing stronger than all the armies in the world, and that is an Idea whose time has come.

Let us take care of the children, for they have a long way to go. Let us take care of the elders, for they have come a long way. Let us take care of those in-between, for they are doing the work.-African Prayer
